Reminder, with what's happening in the US, that people have these ableist beliefs here in Canada too.

That's why disabled folks work together in solidarity for access, regardless of policy. You should too.

Focusing on disability is not necessary a bad thing because the government can't provide and accommodate for something they can't see /choose not see, there needs to more new nuance.

Not mention if you are disabled on top of it there is double the infantilization.
There’s a lot going on in this. But don’t forget that discrimination can look like support when it’s cloaked in sympathy and pity.

Asexual folks are infantalized, constructed as fragile and pitiable, in a funhouse mirror version of constructing queers as monsters. It’s still aphobia.
