As each day passes I get closer to permanently ditching the bird app
That’s the plan! Still, the repair is going to be $1000 AUD, as the chassis, clamshell and LCD all have to be replaced.
I’m going to wait for the V2 revisions to become available before I purchase, the new clamshell is supposed to be stronger and have less flex, which was a big gripe I had.

Hahaha, I’ve never owned a PIMAX headset, but I’ve always thought they’re pretty gaudy and impractical.
My Bigscreen on the other hand, easily the best headset I’ve ever used by a landslide, even compared to the Vision Pro.

I don’t plan on leaving the lighthouse ecosystem anytime soon, and I imagine most professionals and enthusiasts don’t plan to either.
Do HTC have exclusive manufacturing rights over the base stations? Or is it an open system like the headsets?
