I think that is not going to happen, it’s not aligned with expected/likely outcome of continued fighting.

I think the maximalist position that somehow after 11 years Ukraine is going to end the war with its pre 2014 borders is fantasy. Some territorial exchange will happen.

There is no universal policy, never has been. Unless you mean “one rule for us, another for them”.

Expecting a ww2 total victory without western society switching to a total war footing is unrealistic.

The best the west can do to preserve international rules is to start obeying them or rearm.

I don’t think voters will go for sending in European or American soldiers to an active war in Ukraine. Ultimately that’s what it would take to correct this.
