Or, you know, just mimicing the gatefold of the original Broadway cast album of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Cats!"

And I think Costner was attempting an accent throughout the movie, it just didn't really work. Lol

We watched Prince of Thieves with our 11yo last night almost solely so that we could watch Men in Tights next weekend and they would get the "Unlike some other robin hoods, I can speak with an English accent" joke.

- that said, PoT was WAY more campy than my memory served.

While I won't go as far to say redeemed, the George Lucas Talk Show love readings have brought insurmountable joy to the prequels for me

Yeah - that's basically a Laserdisc encoded video on a vinyl record inside that case.
Techmoan and/or Technology Connections ran a series on them.
Super cool random collectable thing, but not the easiest thing to play.

Great news that the Senate has passed the bill forcing the DOJ to release its Epstein file. Now Bondi must comply. But our work cannot stop there. We need to force the Treasury to release the Epstein bank records too. I have a bill to make that happen. FOLLOW THE MONEY.

Not a day goes by I don’t miss my pal Neil Innes & wish we could chat again. An amazing human in all the most brilliantly absurd ways, always keen to have a drink & a think & a bit of uke to accompany both. A sweet soul. Here’s a cover he did of his friend George’s song the last time we were together

There have been many attempts at lampooning Elton John over the years, but the brilliance in Neil Innes' approach from RUTLAND WEEKEND TELEVISION is to emulate Elton's musicianship while gently ribbing the oft-times endearingly flowery/nonsensical nature of Bernie Taupin's lyrics...
