We sell wine, coffee, cheese n chicken. Like ya dream local boozer but with only wine… more wine pub than wine bar.... Chester.
Wine decided.. as @drswaff.bsky.social alluded, plummy, spicy fruit is the name of the game.. oumsiyat grande reserve would be perfect.. Lebanese cab, Merlot Syrah.. but I’ve gone Rhône though with the Grenache heavy telegramme c-n-d-p and the syrah superstar.. jaboulet la chapelle hermitage 2009.

Remember when you put money in a bank at was their responsibility. They pushed you to go online. Promised that you wouldn’t be out of pocket if account was compromised. Now., they give you a bit of advice and tough shit if you’re hacked on THEIR software.

Tonight’s tough task.. comparing two different but similar clarets. Chateau kirwan 2005 and chateau talbot 2015. Both grand cru classe, both great vintages but 10 years apart. Giant ribeyes as their foil.

To be fair nor am I! I’ll see if the boss in IT ( the missus) can turn my number to “business” . Cheers! I can’t be arsed endlessly checking various forms of communication. I find simply checking emails a millstone! As this pic shows! NB the business are dealt with by an adult.
