Science and agriculture instructor, kayaking instructor, paddler, cyclist, trail runner, napper. Saskatchewanian, Saskatonian. He/him
I saw The Arrogant Worms circa 1996 in the Knotted Thistle in Regina. Also, I met an American at a paddling symposium in Michigan - pronounced Saskatchewan perfectly. Turns out he was a busker that got hired to tour with the worms and filled in on Last Saskatchewan Pirate.

Also, "Ofthenorth" is a pretty awesome surname. Elli Ofthenorth is the person who was interviewed on the radio who discovered the nudibranch while snorkeling off of Nova Scotia.

The host on @cfcrcommunity.bsky.social just gave the information I was hoping for before rolling into the second song on side two. The song is from The Guess Who Live at the Paramount.
Side two
"American Woman" (Randy Bachman, Cummings, Jim Kale, Garry Peterson) - 17:05

Great stuff.

I'm hoping for a few more exotic critters that I can't see at home. I have my camera and binoculars ready. Today is mostly about getting ourselves oriented and exploring the neighbourhood. Saturday we start our exploration in earnest.

Ditto. Never heard that one before in Saskatoon or growing up in rural Saskatchewan.
