I'm imagining those tech fascists failing to do those things they want to do. It's my best idea of the day but it's still early.

Great idea! And tell them up-front that you are going to do that. Might get them to follow the news more closely and/or stop lying.

Your top 4 are good and I totally agree with #1. The one with Voyager is an embarrassment to the entire Star Trek universe. Where is First Contact? That was great.

If that were true, they wouldn't make them look so human. They would be shaped like R2D2, not C3PO. Fun idea though.

Soon to be a movie. Just kidding. I hope.

I should have added my thanks for doing the math.
December 6, 2025 at 8:20 PM
As I suspected. Thanks for confirming the minutes I saved not reading the article. ;-)

I haven't done the math but it seems like fine-tuning the districts in order to win most of them also sets you up to lose most of them if your candidate drops just a little of their favorability with voters. Gerrymandering essentially cranks up the sensitivity of the system.

Yikes!

Are the conservative justices just voting by party? They are obviously smarter than that but they may be so out of touch with politics that they, like many voters, think Trump is just a normal president. We might think they are motivated to protect their legacy. IMHO, they are failing to do so.

These propagandists have to ratchet up the fantasy with each story in an attempt to outdo their competitors. At what point will their audience suddenly realize that the BS level is approaching 100%?
December 5, 2025 at 11:35 PM
It's all good but "at DOJ's request" virtually guarantees Trump isn't mentioned in this particular tranche.
December 5, 2025 at 7:17 PM
This should be good. Perhaps he will accept their prize and then tell the crowd how it is just a stepping stone to the prize he really wants.

Macron's new name is Monsieur Obvious.
December 4, 2025 at 11:56 PM
I guess they made the mistake of thinking Dems leaving them was worse than the GOP never caring about them in the first place. Out of the frying pan and into the fire.

The link 404s for me.
December 4, 2025 at 4:47 PM
Pivoting of any kind is bullshit. Every candidate should have a believable plan for the future and convince their electorate that it's the right plan. No triangulation!
December 3, 2025 at 10:09 PM
Without personal consequence presumably.
December 3, 2025 at 9:01 PM
I guess it's not eugenics if you only want it for your own offspring, not your race. Sorry, they are indistinguishable.
December 3, 2025 at 7:37 PM
And then there's the shameless lying.
December 3, 2025 at 4:12 PM
It seemed more like he was experiencing a moment of bliss while his lackeys kissed his ass.

My unscientific impression is that Walz has recently stepped up his attacks on Trump. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
December 2, 2025 at 11:05 PM
Surprising she didn't bring up the cards and how Zelensky doesn't have them. Pathetic.
December 2, 2025 at 8:40 PM
It's great. The biggest lesson it teaches, IMHO, is how it all could have come out in a million other ways than it did.
December 2, 2025 at 2:54 AM
I suspect it is the word they are unfamiliar with rather than the concept.
