Pro-European, only a federal Europe can compete at the same level as the US and China.

Someone who voted Leave and has since changed their mind is the best possible ally if there's ever an opportunity to rejoin.

Why? Because they've been on a journey Remainers never engaged on, so their testimony will ring truer to others who need persuading.

With that in mind, stop alienating them.

Thirty years ago, the United States persuaded Ukraine that it does not need nuclear weapons and gave Ukraine "security assurances." Today, the United States is persuading Ukraine that it needs to give up territories, forget about NATO membership, and lower the conscription age.

"A Draghi style report in defence is needed," it is all leading into further integration, pan-European thinkers advocating a Federal Europe is growing, Lagarde, Draghi and Radosław Sikorski are the most recent.
Holding back this path are short sighted selfish politicians.

"Beyond declarations, and out of necessity, the future of Europe must be a journey towards federalism." Mario Draghi

Everybody praises and quotes Draghi's report, but those in the driving seat shy the federal path.

The President of the Commission should earn its mandate directly from the people.

The US with a federal structure and China/Russia as autocracies are by far more assertive than the EU.
The EU is missing the military pilar for its sovereignty, it can only be real with a common foreign policy thus it must become a federal entity.
Draghi's report = further integration.

Draghi has the knowledge to navigate these kinds of storms and would have influenced EU state leaders into not accepting such a shameful act.
He is quoted by everyone everywhere, but no one in decision making seats walks the talk, give the man the presidency of the EU.
