Proudly serving the good people of the 16th district in Fairfax County, Virginia. Lifelong Democrat.
Tonight we witnessed an historic result in Virginia with over a dozen more Democratic Delegates and a clean sweep of the statewide ticket! A total repudiation of Gov Youngkin and his damaging policies and divisive politics. Congratulations to Governor-elect Spanberger and the entire Democratic team!

about five months ago, @paulkrizek.bsky.social stood in a room with us and boldly predicted 'at least 6, maybe 10' and I thought he was crazy.
Looks like the Dems will pick up 12 seats in the VA House of Delegates, which will go from 51-49 to 63-37 D-R. That's an honestly shocking result.

It was concerning to see numerous federal workers in need lined up for the donated food, but it was heartening to be among the many dedicated community volunteers including #MarkSickles supporting them. #UnitedCommunity is a fantastic charity that I am grateful for — and I am proud to support.

50 years backing a women’s reproductive rights

60 years of affirmative action

And-likely-a 90 year old case shielding the FTC

It’s the most radical Court in US history

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.
