This is off the top of my head.
These sorts of inefficiencies happen on quite literally a daily basis. Everybody in the system knows this. Everyone.
Yet what is the government’s diagnosis?
“Juries. They are the problem. Get rid of juries.”
It is absolutely mind-boggling.

The UK, where the day after a decision to take half a million children out of poverty, the media & political world has been full of sneering at those same children & their families, labelling them as ‘Benefits Street’, while the same people are moaning about a tax on £2m mansions. Shameful stuff.

I wonder whether their estimates have factored in (1) people who will be paid for three or more children but will now be facing the benefit cap as a result and (2) the people already on UC with more than two children and who have transitional protection (TE) included - will TE be eroded by increase?

Yes, just said same thing. There was a goal couple of weeks back disallowed for exactly the same thing with fewer players in front.
