This beautiful bead painting is by Jimoh Buraimoh and you can see it at the Tate Modern in the Nigerian Modernism exhibition. Also recommend the Emily Kam Kngwarray exhibition but I couldn't capture the beautiful textures and layers of her artwork to the same degree.

Palestine 36. I'm in complete bits, such a powerful film, complete silence and no one moved as credits rolled, other than few people who applauded. Don't know what else to say at the moment.

Strange to believe I first saw Tiger Lilies more than 30 years ago in the Dove on Broadway Market and here we are again watching them in Wilton's Music Hall and they're still fabulous.

Bugonia at the Rio Cinema, as expected, it's not straightforward even though it is. If you see what I mean? Knew where it was going, even if I wasn't sure. Well worth a viewing, there's more going on than what you see.

Plainclothes at the Rio tonight. What a moving portrayal of coming out in an atmosphere of lies and deceit and deception, slightly quirky but all the better for it. Shed a small tear at the end.

This is the best review of the score of One Fight After Another, the most mono tonal bore off you've ever heard.
