(1/2) Thought the playoff-bound Patriots would be paying Craig Reynolds a weekly salary of $17,500 while he is on their practice squad. They are actually paying him $22,000. My new Patriots salary cap space number is now $50,076,914 - a $27,000 decrease from yesterday.

Per @ivanurena.bsky.social, This is the 5th time not having a scenario until 4 weeks to go, though this is the first time it will have happened in the 17-game era. As far as no one having clinched anything, that happens more frequently. This would be the 7th time since 2002 (2021 most recently).
If I'm understanding this right, this means that no team will have clinched a playoff spot with 4 weeks to go in the season. Has this happened before?

As a side note, we are 100% guaranteed to have clinching scenarios in week 15, so while quite rare, we aren't going to breaking the record for latest clinching scenarios appearance.
