I could definitely see light rail being their next pivot, but I think they realise the inner suburbs will be their base at the next election and don’t want to activate the nimbys

East Wanneroo as a branch off the Ellenbrook line is pretty rubbish tbh, it should be tunnelled from the city to Mirrabooka then run elevated

Perth’s solutions are so obvious and low-cost compared to every other city in the country it’s frustrating seeing them being put off. Light rail to Scarborough, Claremont, Cannington and Morley, orbital lines to the north and south, and a tunnelled Wanneroo line would be transformational
