Recommend to see the film first, then read the novel, then see the film again. Film is great, novel is far better. Hughes writing is superb, she is especially good at slowly revealing the sociopathic and psychopathic internal dialogues, which is unsettling. Film was tailored for Bogart.

Nice artwork. Take more time to balance the lighting across the entire surface, it will greatly improve the presentation (which your nice artwork deserves).

They need to tighten the logical plausibility, for example...

...SPOILER ALERT!....

...they find a cop car with the missing dead cop inside, and...
...they don't call for backup!!! And the dead cop's phone is ringing as they find him, and it's another cop right there on the phone (his son!).
