Life truly can be horrible

I expect it would be.
My uncle was a cardiopulmonary surgeon in Montreal, in the 1970s he sometimes had to decide who to unplug from iron lungs to make room for a newer patient who might have a better chance of survival. The patients suffer, the medical doctors suffer too (though not as much).

I myself go through the same sequence of events between about 04:30 to 06:30 every morning (PTSD?), I have to pick myself up, shake it off and force myself up otherwise I am stuck as my mind keeps trying to figure out how to fix a situation I cannot fix. Misunderstandings can cause suffering.

What I meant is that people should not be abandoned to suffer alone with no hope -- though I recognize that the world in many respects is horrible and sometimes people are suffering circumstances no one should have to live through, including horrific incurable diseases.
