one sign that the “unitary executive” is less the restoration of an older constitutional order and more the imposition of a radical new one is that allowing the president to act untethered from most legal or congressional limits has largely just served to plunge the country into disorder

Between Kilmar Abrego Garcia and the DOJ official who tried to extort a plea out of him with threats of trafficking him to Uganda, there is someone who committed a crime. But that someone isn't Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

Good morning Jesus. It seems like everyone is seeking after a new word, a new song, a new revelation… Let me live Your Words today. You show us what love looks like in human form. That’s the revelation I seek. You in me, loving God, my neighbors and enemies–while making disciples.✌🏼

Masked raids are tools of fear, not freedom. Despite what this administration wants you to believe, they are not about “safety.” They are about letting ICE agents hide from accountability while carrying out inhumane acts.

Really frustrating seeing journalists continue using “peace deal.” This is such an insult to Ukrainians. What “peace deal” implies is rewarding a terrorist state committing genocide and an illegal invasion by an aggressor.

I don't think most Americans realize how hard tariffs are about to hit them. The combination of 1) escalating tariffs, 2) companies slowly passing the cost to consumers, and 3) the repeal of the de minimis exemption in the Big Beautiful Bill, a lot stuff will be more expensive in 2027.

A fool named John Roberts has spent his entire career wanting a unitary executive. In Trumpvs.US he bloviated that the president has immunity for all “official” acts. But what’s unitary is a man’s personal character; private corruption always overflows into official corruption. As the Greeks knew

Legalized corruption is one of the two central problems connected to all the other problems in American society.

The other central problem is elite impunity — the idea that no matter how much damage elites do, they will never face social, political, legal or financial consequences.
