We’re snail posting, post your snails!

Had fun drawing this scaly-foot gastropod last month! (I also have a little stamp I made in August but it’s not on my phone)

Yeah, I’ll do my own interactive zine. This is a test print on thin paper so not the final product!

I made a bee and bird abomination this time. I can’t unsee my other friend’s cute dog interpretation tho #pandaKongSplotchZine
A drawing on top of a printed page of a hybrid of bird and a bee, the head is a bird with an insect’s eye, the chest is angular, the wings are wide and unrealistic; the bottom half of the body is striped yellow and black-brown like a bee with a stinger. A brown-orange paint splotch that also has some yellow. There are a few angular edges and some that are irregular, like colors bleeding from wet paint. Creating splotch art can be a useful exercise for warming up or to get imagination flowing, It's a way to think uniquely about shapes, and character and prop design.
