Oh no. I hope you can get some easy resolution that doesn’t involve surgery.

If I didn’t use the correct words, in the correct order, my best friend’s mother wouldn’t let me talk to her. She’d say “no” and hang up.

It’s where my phone anxiety started. To this day I count the rings when I make a call I was scolded that if it rings 7 times without an answer you need to hang up because they obviously didn’t have an answering machine and weren’t going to pick up.

FWIW, I also find her adorable.

I keep telling my boss we need to get a dog for the building since we basically live there now. Apparently it’s “not a good idea” when you work in pharmacy? Idk. The guy has 9 cats, so I’m not sold the dog would be a bad idea. He’s biased.

I usually work in independent long term care pharmacy. 2 weeks ago I got floated to our retail location. They’re a compounding pharmacy near a hospital and they do soooo many C2 medications. It blew my mind. I know there’s some difference in our ordering, but I don’t remember the details.

It’s only better if the kitten is purring. 😻

I’m trying to get changed from Lyumjev to humalog for my pump bc it hurts constantly! “But your numbers are so good!”

Okay, so it’s like you’ve been stung by a wasp and every time you want to eat somebody slaps the spot where you were stung. And you never got to pull the stinger out.

I have this delusion frequently.

Well I already have no appetite bc of an antidepressant. My psych has me on something to stimulate appetite. I think it also depends on which med you take. Ozempic, on the lowest dose, actually made me throw up while eating. I’m on Trulicity now and I can eat. Did a slow titration.

It’s so hard to trust it, but it’s doing okay so far. I just need to tweak some settings bc my correction seems too strong. When I tried Control IQ on the t:slim my a1c went from 6.1 to 8, hence the trust issues.

The trainer told me to let the pump make decisions for the first few days. It’s hard to let this thing just… do stuff. It does stuff that seems counterintuitive, but if it keeps up like this I swear my a1c is going to be like, 3.2 next time. 😂
