Ron Wyden, my Senator, came to town to help with a problem. ICE took away our Coast Guard rescue helicopter that has saved over 500 fisherman & coastal lives and is also trying to build a detention center without any discussion. We are the 1st Sanctuary State. Things are fired up.

As of this year, can't go out on our property without bear spray and a bear horn. We have a fairly active, large Black Bear about.

Our Sweet Kitty Doc is very sick. Finally discovered it was carcinoma. Am trying to give him a comfortable last few days, if I can. I cannot imagine a universe with a Docky-shaped hole in it..

Oh!-and yellow was the color of the day. Everyone was asked to find something yellow to add to their outfit so we all looked like we were together, lol. I think the signs probably did that, but some managed. BTW- I am in 1 of the pictures- can you find me?

Two different groups sponsored our "No Kings" rally at 2 different times on Saturday, so that they ran back-to-back, and became one long protest. The first group stayed for the second, and the second came early for the first, so it was amazing, and took over the farmer's market..
