Who’s even counting anymore?
We Americans were handed democracy free and easy from those who fought for it before us. Today a frightening percentage of us don’t even want it. Now we’re finding out who does, and how badly.
We could all learn from a nation some of our parents helped liberate.

Is this NYT’s idea of satire? “Crushed by his workload and the demands of his job managing an unruly Republican majority” - this is a rubber-stamp Congress if there ever was one.
