if only there was a story about a blonde amoral starfucker journalist from new york city who is proactive in facilitating the rise of fascism getting her just desserts that could provide us with some form of catharsis

the example i gave when i taught critical methods was: "differance" is like when in "backstreet's back" the one guy sings "am i sexual" and the other guys go "yeah" but it kinda sounds like he's saying "i'm asexual"

Prison is supposed to be a punishment - punishing bolsonaro would be more like “you are absolutely not allowed to get covid”

personally, i think the massive regime of terror, torture, and imprisonment did more to delegitimize socialism than 'totalitarianism' as a designator.

'if we had inflicted more terror and violence, we could have won' can never be disproven and something as messy as invading and occupying a country will almost never have an outcome so unambiguously positive that there's no room to ask 'but did we actually win?', so it's self-reinforcing logic.

i quote tweeted the wrong thing, i'm seeing. the thing i meant to comment on was a post that said something to the effect of "no bailouts - let the companies twist in the wind" which i think is a bad idea
