One year ago today, we received our specialized flax harvesting equipment from Belgium! This season, we were able to use it to harvest some of our flax. This is particularly mind-blowing because we are pretty sure that no one in the Eastern United States has used this machinery before.

We experimented with making paper out of fiber flax co-product! The co-products are things like tow, shive, dust, etc - anything that isn't used for long line fiber!

A special thank you to paperTHINKtank for helping us in this journey, and to Awbury Arboretum for giving us an excuse to do this 😁
