I tell ya what. I’ve been on following stan online stuff for about a year and have come to the conclusion that everyone thinks Taylor is a mastermind mostly because of their own complex theories that become lore even when they don’t happen. But if this 3/21 thing is true I will take it all back

I also appreciate your empathy, I promise I’m not actually upset by this. I offered a couple of what were intended to be fairly neutral discussion comments, which I stand by. I am genuinely sorry that I didn’t realize she’s in such a bad place right now. I would have scrolled past.

I’m not going to not post my very reasonable message because I don’t know what kind of dms she’s getting? I’m not arguing with her, I’m sort of rabbit holing with you because you want to talk about it. If she wasn’t in a place to handle discourse shutting down comments was the right thing to do

I’m not offended if she isn’t “receptive”. I offered a thought for her (and the 650+) people who liked the post to consider. If she does or doesn’t is up to her that’s how social discourse works. I am genuinely sorry if she’s been receiving hateful pushback today

“She just sees people responding to her hurt with attempts to explain why she should be okay with it.” I absolutely did not do that. A lot of people are having very painful days today for very valid reasons.

Honestly, I don’t know her at all and Im not super comfortable “discussing” her in subbleets (or whatever we’re calling them) like this. I think I offered someone an adjunct to their opinion to consider about as respectfully as it’s possible to.

I think I offered my opinion respectfully. But pointing out ‘hey this is actually how we lost’ feels really, really important and relevant right now. I’m not minimizing her pain I offered something to consider because the narrative we build coming out of this matters.
