This is an excellent book that dispenses with all of the tiresome 'mad Syd Barrett' stories - most of which do not stand up to scrutiny - and concentrates on what he recorded and when, and actually ends up giving a stronger picture of him as an artists.

Adam And Joe's Fourmative Years - where Adam Buxton and Joe Cornish take a trip through Channel 4's archives - is exactly how you should do a clip show. Context, jokes, rarely seen footage and honesty about the quality or otherwise of the shows themselves.
