Maybe eventually I'll get a fancy boost but for now all I need is a volume knob and it does exactly what I was hoping for. No reason to pay big bucks imo, kmise all the way

The actual plug ports are on little circuit board modules, and they're actually maybe too tight imo. They don't have the cutout problem though. You might want to look into Neutrik locking jacks (pic), that's what I use on my old board and have had zero problems.

They're modules from a Neutrik 1/4" patchbay I had lying around. Looks like they still make them, model # is NYS-SPP-L1

The Chroma seems like it has fewer options than the others, but all the sounds are really really good. The price point also makes it attractive. Will check out the VP4, thanks!

I love everything I've heard in demos for sure. I wish it had slightly more modulation options, but other than that it does everything I'd need and more. Probably what I'm leaning towards as of right now.
