Jefferson, for those who didn't just turn 38 like me, was a piece of shit from New Orleans famously caught with cash hidden in his freezer who commandeered resources to check his house after Hurricane Katrina when they could have been used for search and rescue operations.

I remember when I was over there, Netanyahu slipped & fell during a naval photo op & had to be caught by a sailor. Super embarrassing, caught in great photos which ran on the front page of every newspaper in the country: except Israel Hayom. Anyway here's the photo!

It brings me no joy to say--and this is amidst a scary screed about imprisoning his democratically-elected opponents--that Trump talking to/about the turkeys he's pardoning is always high-level comedy. It could not be written to be funnier. apnews.com/article/dona...

I do not think the gunmen planned to kill 7 people, but that there were more men in the garage than expected--the target, George Moran, not among them. The sole massacre survivors: North Side hitman Frank Gusenberg, who died an hour later, shot 14 times, refusing to talk; and Highball, a dog.

The two Capone gunmen then handed their weapons to the two phony policemen, put their hands up, and exited the building as if under arrest. One of the getaway cars would be discovered partially dismantled by acetylene torch at 1723 Wood St, Wicker Park, and point to Claude Maddox, Capone gangster.

The two additional gunmen entered--likely Capone gunmen who would have been recognizable to the 7 gangsters now lined up with their backs to them--wielding Thompson submachine guns, emptying 70 or so rounds into the men, with two shotgun blasts as a coup de grace. Pictured: a police reenactment.
