ESPN is already in full court press mode to get a 3-Loss Texas team into the playoff.

I am hopeful that if Texas does not get into the playoff, the teams that do get in are not disparaged by the play-by-play commentators like SMU and Indiana were last year.

The lobbying effort has been going on for a couple of weeks now.
Last week, I was watching some random midweek college football game on ESPN when one of the commentators on the halftime show was trying to make the case for a 3-Loss Texas team getting into the playoff.

I know this has been up for discussion by the NFL owners in the last couple years, but I don’t think winning your division should automatically grant you a home playoff game.
It should be based on your overall record.
Enough with 8-9 or previously 7-9 division winners hosting playoff games.

For those familiar, the flea market is located in Amish country.
