Open Source Design has limited fund to support travel, accomodation and expenses for speakers and can be found on our open collective page. We will be prioritising under-represented members of the FOSS community with these travel funds and can offer invitation letters for visas.

We have a maintainer that been in contact with the FOSDEM organising team via invitation for a few months advocating for more design representation in the main track and making sure that design is heard at the organisation level.

The Global Gathering is ticket only so not open to the public but anyone who is attending can meet with open source design folks to chat about what the community collective does and how to connect with designers in the Open Source Software space.
