The dogs share a birthday because you can't give presents to one and not the other and they're only a week apart, tops. Anyway, this year, I baked pupcakes. Some they can have once they cool and some I'll save until the Grand Feast. I should've made an odd number, but I'm still gonna steal a nibble.

I've been 3D printing whistles to send to Chicago and I've finally hit peak production. First pic is what I made from Saturday to Wednesday (a bit over 400). Second is the batch I made after that. The glowing ones are my favorite, but sadly, I only have enough for a couple of batches.

Someone on reddit who only recently learned that poor folks buy prepared food because they often don't have a way to cook food. They said that poor people needed to "fight back". I feel that what you just said is a corollary to what I said to them. It's why hope has been hard for me to come by.
With what, exactly? Voting like our lives depend on it has only made things worse. In capitalism, people can sometimes effect change by voting with their pocketbooks, but poor folks usually don't have that luxury. So what does that leave? Violence? Sheeeit. The system is so very well-prepared for outbreaks of poverty-induced violence that they just call it crime and will happily throw more money at being tough on it than they ever would to solve the underlying reasons. It's kind of hard to get organized and start a revolution when you can't afford to take a day off work. No, poor folks aren't going to be the ones to rise up. It's gonna have to be the middle-class folks who actually have something to lose who will have to rise up if we're ever going to see a U-turn away from fascism.
