As a trans person, I'm terrified. The anti-trans rhetoric has been ramping up for years. I currently live in Canada, and know that I can't return to the USA to see my family without risking violence. Corruption and capitalism are destroying the world, hate is destroying society. Nowhere is safe.

I will not vote for any Democrat who does not have these as stated goals, along with undoing all the damage the Trump regime has done to every single inch of the United States, enshrining Trans and LGBT+ rights into law, and prosecuting every illegal act of this incredibly corrupt regime.

Drive tourists away, so they can say that the parks are worthless. They'll then use that excuse to open them up to mining, logging, and drilling.

If we want any natural spaces left in the USA, we have to oppose this fascist oligarchy.

I think it has a hold on me because the most popular ship is a poly lesbian dynamic between the three main characters, and Rumi's story is very easily interpreted as a trans allegory. I see a lot of myself in Rumi, and as a trans poly lesbian who loves music, I want to explore that world.
