I do crochet stuff and sometimes math stuff. (she/her)
The BLAKE3 paper specifically calls out its adaptability to stateful hash objects, which provide similar functionality.

You seem fun.

There are a lot of medical tourism spots near us, and I wouldn't be surprised if a fair number of US gender-affirming surgeons move practices here.

What I find interesting is lack of prescriptions. We can just BUY our estrogen here. Same for my seizure meds. It's the ultimate place for DIY HRT.

My wife and I fled to Costa Rica in July. We are VERY privileged in that my job is 100% remote, that we qualify for a Digital Nomad visa, and that we had some savings.

Costa Rica, both in its government and its people, has been more gracious and kind than we have any right to expect or request.

Don't get me wrong: Fanni Willis should be booed out of every room. She knew what she was doing, and did it anyway.

Nathan Wade deserves that, too. But nobody's talking about it.

I have a funny feeling I know why.

There's a fucking pattern to this shit.

Whose cash withdrawals were heavily scrutinized? Who had to explain the purpose of keeping cash on hand in a state that can be incredibly hostile to women (and especially Black women)? They both said the trips weren't "romantic", but who got MOCKED for it?

"Oh, but Opal," I hear you cry. "Willis was the DA! She was a government employee, which makes her the more culpable party."

One: MORE culpable doesn't mean solely culpable.

Two: who did Dems tear down when POTUS got a beek in the late 1990s? Was it Bill?

Weird switch of standards, that.

I'm not saying this to shame or pick on Dev. But I'm seeing the entire internet show up to blast Willis, and I'm seeing FUCK ALL about the other person who also took considered, deliberate steps that eventually led to Trump getting away with attempted election fraud.

Nathan Wade could have and SHOULD have refused. He knew he would be going up against one of the most vicious political machines in the world, with a disqualifying conflict of interest.

He did it anyway.

Were it not for him, Willis might have had to pick somebody who WASN'T her boyfriend.
