Big point of order here, this is taxis for medical appointments. They're not allowed much in the way of money. Like nearly nothing. How are they supposed to get to appointments?
Dismal framing. Every aspect of most asylum seekers’ lives is controlled & paid for by the Home Office. They can’t work, are told where to live & have no autonomy or dignity. So they aren’t *choosing* to use taxis & don’t need to be “banned” from doing so. The HO just needs to get its act in order.

I was woo'd by the military as a youth. I felt that I couldn't square service with my beliefs. I have no sympathy for those who chose to serve in spite of their beliefs.

I find myself ending up on "Illiberal" block lists. While Im fine with it, man am I curious what about my limited content gets me there. I suspect its because I think religion is oppressive and should to follow the same rules as everyone else but I can't prove it.

What the “Department of War” posted today is not normal. Publicizing an internal referral memo on social media before any review has occurred undercuts the neutrality expected in military justice and risks unlawful command influence. That should alarm anyone who cares about due process. #holdfast
