May I suggest Dog Sled Saga?
It's quite fun if you like "Monster Rancher only it's sled dog teams."

It's totally worth $8 store.steampowered.com/app/286240/D...

The #GameDev discourse on Youtubes told me that "doggie games were dead" so I'm thinking there's a niche open somewhere over there...

In my recent jaunt down this very hole I found that most charge a sub, and if they don't, they require you to host the shop - or pay a sub.

The best I think I found still requires me to set up my own shop pages, to include calcing my own shipping rates? - and that's why it's going so sloooowly.

Rather than fight that, the narratalogical paradigm of good MMO content takes into account the reality of the context, rather than trying to obviate it with instances and client-side bullshit.

Reality is not subjective, doubly-so curated realities in boxes.

The entire history of MMO content creation challenges orbit various concessions made to the multiplayer environment - single-player experiences are necessarily inferior in this context. It's built-in.

Please move Corvus' cigar to the other side of their mouth, lol, their poor partner. :D

Or is Corvus the poor partner?

Is it Corvus and Jay?

When I first got a "SmartWatch" it would chime and congratulate me on my anxiety attacks, often before I had clocked that I was having one.

"Good job keeping your heart rate up!"

I think that there is something to learn about humanity that is woven into the threads of anachronisms you wrap your brain around when settling into the worlds that "old scifi" describes - it's sci-fi after all, like fantasy, it inhabits an imagined world that is different from the one you live in.

Caturday Extra: See also the trend of "Co-Ops" like REPO, Peak, and the alikes and inspirations of these.

These are playground games, places you go with friends to play together there, with the tools of play provided by us (designers!) but freeform, montessori.

There's a lesson here #GameDevs

A classic, by a crew that makes classics.

Am I blushing or am I embarrassed? I'm not sure I read your tone... :D

Let's keep talking!

What's a discord? It's a place I hang out in Global with The Chat. What things have they added since wide adoption? Shit to do (minigames) with each other & ways to show off (avatars, cheevos)
All that's missing is the vis environment.

It's 'cos RP is lame, isn't it?

And so the message here isn't lost ( #GameDev )

MMORPGs that people miss and have nostalgia for were places you hung out in *first* and a place to achieve goals over others *second* - and hobbyists didn't think of being logged into those spaces without making linear prog as "wasted time"
