This feels like a pretext to close a bunch of parks for commercial/industrial development because the foreign visitors don't want to pay the overcharge and the American well has dried up due to the president* crashing the economy and making vacations for the hoi polloi unaffordable.

I’ll take chocolate bourbon pecan pie over pumpkin every day of the week, but apple and berry pies are superior to both.

My school has 2 infant classrooms and 4 toddler classrooms (<3 years old in September). Even with extended day it’s rare that any of them are at school longer than 7 hours, and the infants have both an AM and PM nap (toddlers and primary just PM nap).

The Coast Guard is under the purview of DHS, not DOD. That's the likely explanation.
