The second draft of a novel seems to me like spring on the prairie — a new beginning for a seemingly never-ending expanse that, strengthened by the battering of erosion and weathering and winds of change, will soon come alive and flourish in the sun.

Was lucky enough to catch up with an awesome Jane’s Walk on meeting medicinal plants in the Old Man River basin this morning. Thankful to make these kind of meaningful connections with the people and place… and pelicans!

Spending the weekend at the amazing Galt Museum in Lethbridge. Learning about the place and people in my story. A humbling, inspiring, informative, and spiritual experience to be here in person.
