they get one view of it (Generally people can live with it, anyway) but being able to see multiple replays and slowmo from different angles and ending with the 'wrong' decision just kills the game. It's not fun to watch anymore

It's clear at this point there's too much subjectivity in the rules to adequately ever be able to make people happy. As someone who thought VAR would be good for the game it's just time to scrap it all, I think most people for now can live with referees making incorrect on call decisions because

Amazing. I've just realised I guess I should've mentioned more niche. I've played Persona 3 and 5, and DQ11 I think. FF Tactics is absolutely on my lost to play.
Trails in the Sky is one I hear about a lot, is that a good starting point for the series?

I love RPG's so not quite what you're asking for, but entry points into any of the best JRPGs would be appreciated. Theyre all really deep into how many games they've released so no idea where to start with some.

No one has discussed it but the first goal happens because VvD is LB after the City break. He is there for a while, City drop back and he calls to Robbo to swap, as they do this City play out wide to a massive gap and Robbo is struggling to get close.

Ok, I get that but that's not the same team and when you're struggling, it matters even more.
More than that, it really just ruins watching football, what's the point of analysing games when every is just randomly decided by inconsistent rule application.

I get that but also it's pretty reductive. You score a legitimate goal and should be level. The game changed completely and maybe we could have picked up.

Not really relevant to this (although kind of i guess) but it's very sad Blake Manor hasn't been getting reviews. Too many games, and the games media has been gutted so we miss coverage on some gems

I liked Day and Age. Everything after that is mostly meh, although some of Flowers' solo songs are pretty good and I like 'My God' and 'Quiet Town' as random songs from them

Wish they'd offer more settings for this. For example, on Xbox you can have them on but if it's a game you've not played in X amount of time then they don't update unless you load it up or search for updates

It was just a comment on how other teams deal with the same issues and are able to perform and there don't seem to be any articles about that.
There's no need to be so touchy about it, it's only 5 games into the season, anything can happen
