William Jackson Harper is so good in The Resort. “Do you want to be married to me anymore, or, like, naw?” Milioti is obviously a queen in this but it doesn’t work if he isn’t right there with her.

I just had to talk to the California Franchise Tax Board and I don’t know about the organization, but the guy was so kind and helpful (and I called at 8am with a real doozy). Pour one out for the CS reps; that is not an easy job.

Finally getting a chance to sit down and watch some #StrangerThings. Right off the bat I feel like de-aging Will Byers is a mistake just because the real young Will’s little face is a huge asset to the first couple seasons of the show.

Latest Knives Out is a banger. Worth seeing in the theater; they do big, over the top lighting stuff that’s goofy but effective and might not hit on the small screen. Looks great in general. You want to see the dirt on Josh O’Connor’s face and hear an audience respond to Brolin’s outstretched hand.

Had our first real date night in ages last night (we’ve been to shows, but always with a pretty strict time limit) and we spent it dining at Kinto, the Georgian place in Fishtown which was SO GOOD. I only regret I couldn’t eat more food. So freaking good.

I have officially lost 40 pounds since February! I can’t really tell anyone in my actual life because most of the women I know, while very nice, are the type to say “oh, I haven’t been to the salon in two years,” so you all get to hear it.
