Is it just me or should all the numbers line up on the decimal point, so the bottom one (11.5mg) stands out next to the others? This is something I remember from school, 40odd years ago.

Very hard to read for old people.

I just filled in the Christchurch City Council annual transport survey. Here's what they said about the 2024 survey - link in AltTxt.

Respondents who are between 50 and 64 years of age or have higher incomes are more likely to travel by car more than once a month. Car travel was rated the lowest of the modes for overall journey satisfaction, with only 51% of respondents who travel by car reporting they feel satisfied or very satisfied with journeys made by car. This is consistent with last year, when 50% felt satisfied/very satisfied with their journeys made by car. Commentary about the experience of travelling by car covered a wide variety of topics with different and opposing perspectives, but a significant proportion tended to be a point of concern or complaint: “The roads are becoming increasingly clogged with traffic. There appears to be a huge increase in the number of cars in the last 5-10 years.” “Roadworks seem to be very regular making for detours and slower trips." “I travel a lot for work around the city.”

"limited public transport and ticketing knowledge" - seems pretty essential to me.
The review found deficiencies in a number of areas including poor communication, "optimism bias" from some senior programme leaders, limited public transport and ticketing knowledge, slow decision making, the "urgent need" to support legacy fare collection systems, pressure on budgets and the "very high likelihood of further significant delays".

It is an asset. Do not sell assets as this is a short term solution. If you sell it, Mainland Parking (Wilsons) will buy it and put up the prices at both here and The Crossing, making a huge profit. Keep it as a car park. Put the fees up to $1 more than it is now to make it commercially viable. Plenty of other parking spaces are way more then this. You last increased charges in 2021 and inflation needs to be accounted for. I want the money I pay for parking to go to the good work the Council does for us, your ratepayers (and keep rates down). Ignore what Wilsons charge at The Crossing - I would never use them anyway. If nothing else, this will show them very firmly that the majority of Users will reject CoPilot and they need to rethink their plans.
