HDR is great, 4K is great, *Nintendo* has yet to provide a decent HDR implementation. something like Raiders of the Lost Ark or Escape from New York in Dolby Vision or Death Stranding 2 on a 4K OLED is really jaw-dropping

People who have heard about these kinds of games want to see them for what they are; trying to sand off pieces to appeal to "modern audiences" can actually alienate new players who wanted to try the games as-is, while not actually bringing in people who are otherwise turned off by them.
