This guy is whining because he wants us to like AI and everyone told him to fuck off. Poor chap.
I’m not sure what this platform can do to make it more enjoyable, but I’m definitely not enjoying whatever pile-on is taking place right now in my notifications and I’m also not really sure how I could make it stop.

This keeps happening and I am SO HERE FOR IT.

The public are starting to notice.

Every fucking day I learn something about a man in my vicinity (either my neighbourhood or extended social group) that has done something utterly abhorrent and/or illegal and I have never had a lower opinion of men than I do now. I want to cry.

Throwback trauma... menstrual cycles that came on when I had no painkillers in the house, or I took them too late and they didn't work.

Damn that was horrible.

I do not know off the top of head what is in the oath an incoming government makes to the Governor General, but it seems like passing legislation you actually think is bad should be some kind of breach of it

Managed to flip a frying pan off the bench and on to my toe. Fried egg landed underneath it. Toe swole.

This is so wonderful and makes my heart happy and the tears well up. Close to half of ALL THE SCHOOLS in the country have signed up to go against a blatantly racist government mandate. More are coming onboard every day. Proud of teachers, keep being awesome ❤️ Toitū Te Tiriti!

"Air New Zealand... was named Australia's most trusted airline"

ROFL. Keep losing Australia.

This. It’s a completely unnecessary, expensive scapegoating of a tiny number of people for political capital in a culture war most of us don’t want to be a part of. Let trans kids live.
Anyone would think we’re talking about 1000s of children being prevented from going through puberty forever with the use of puberty blockers.

Puberty blockers were prescribed to 113 people in 2023.

Come on now. Let doctors and other medical professionals do their damned job.

Ha ha nope. You’re not seeing this face. Too cute.
STOP. This is a cute selfie checkpoint. You must repost with a cute selfie to proceed.

(Like I’m not going to take any excuse to post a selfie lolol)

There’s a thing about NZers that is both thoughtful and annoying to the people they are trying to help - clearing our own dishes from café tables. A survey of staff tells me that the thought is appreciated but practically it can be a pain as it disrupts their systems. I find it endearing though.

Just had an ECG in preparation for a procedure under anaesthetic. All paid for by my taxes. Hooray for free healthcare, we need to defend this with our lives.

I have jumped on the matcha latter train and my only question is WHY NOT SOONER?

Only iced, mind you, heat makes it gritty and bitter.

The very idea of your art being beholden to the insane whims of finance bros is a horror I can barely bring myself to contemplate. Utter vileness.

I fucking KNEW IT.
Honestly with the sheer amount of meddling I'm just grateful we got a coherent season at all, Alex said at the wee con panel that they had to rewrite the last two episodes basically the day before shooting because of the execs 😭

I am absolutely tired of wāhine having to carry the burden of challenging our racist and misogynistic systems. I am begging our men to step up and help us. My hope is that, finally, we see an institution shaken to its core and ready to listen. And that other sectors follow suit.
