I liked him in Deep Cover! And yeah, he was always kind of a blank slate pretty boy with an inoffensive lilt. When that was the role, he was perfectly fine. Now that he's got a little seasoning I'm curious what he does with it.

Reminded me of sword and sandal epics from the 50s. Fun side characters chewing the scenery but the lead is usually a stuffed shirt (or doublet or whatever)

I do, although it's the one I got in 1996 and used for about a year before it broke. They were indeed well liked by concert bootleggers and field reporters as they could record lots of high quality audio pre-SSD. Not sure I'd have much use for a mic, but if you find the unit let me know
