Also I only found out years later that it's technically a spin-off of TMNT. I still have not read a single TMNT comic or watched anything other than the 2023 movie. I still love the samurai bunny man comics

When I was a kid, I picked up volume 12 of Usagi Yojimbo at my local library because it was a comic with a bunny man. This volume was a culmination of multiple story arcs and characters. I had no idea what was going on. I went on to read every volume my library had stocked multiple times over
