Be a friend we're all in this together!
One way or another we will beat this, as long as we can stay respectful and united together.

If we give in to the chaos of this circus, it will be extraordinarily hard to stop the change.

Support each other and endure.

It's looking like how we're all feeling dealing with this city 😂

Another reason not to worry about Russia's nuclear arsenal.

It takes incredible money to maintain your strategic missiles, and Russia has been looting and undermining the basics for decades. Let alone now.

So let's take a look at how the missiles are...
Russia tested its latest ICBM the „RS-28 Sarmat“ in the Orenburg region. It failed.

I wonder how many millions of emails they must get every year. They run the same PR campaign, every year, year after year without fail.

Just turn the GPS back on, or tell people it comes when it comes. Stop wasting our friggin tax dollars 😂
This is Ottawa – snow happens. And when it does, we get to work. In this month’s episode of #OttCity’s official podcast series, we OttaTalk about how the City responds when the snow starts to fall.

Finally a back-to-back photo of just how stupidly large they are.

Although I kind of like signage that goes right to the ground. That's kind of cool.

This is a serving of pasta.

I'm sorry, Health Canada. I measure my pasta consumption in half pounds, not grams and atmospheric pressure 😂

I haven't been down to see it, but the construction really puts into perspective how big of a footprint the project is.

It's supposedly going to look good when it's done.

Back in 2017 or so when I was talking to roads (who are quite polite) the general statement was - people have too high of standards for the quality of sidewalks. They don't have the money, manpower, time

(But, they can always meet provincial obligations on roads)

We need sanctioned community plows
Every winter, I hear about sidewalks that are impassable due to insufficient snow clearing. Now the city says it doesn’t have the money to improve our winter quality maintenance standards. This is just one of the ways that austerity costs us all.

Deachman: Ottawa's snow removal standards are bad, with no plans on getting better
The city's public works department has once again decided not to update its Winter Maintenance Quality Standards. | Opinion

Any activist #coders out there want to get on the ground floor of a winter project?

Going to try to build an automated road law enforcement + #ALPR application for phones. For data collection, police & policy harassment.

It'll be a language learning experience in:

- Phone
- #ReactNative
- #OpenCV

👇 I always found bikes uncomfortable, but I'll always fight for them. They're not smashing up the city at the slightest snowfall and murdering as they go along

There's no contest between a person riding a bike in a whiteout blizzard, and some person in a car, that will surely do "highway speeds"
Light dusting of snow and the traffic guy on the radio is reporting over 20 collisions on the roads this morning. Yet what we here constantly is that you can't BIKE in the winter.

"Ottawa police to share RIDE locations in advance"

Interesting tactic.

Rather than ambush drivers. If you're "sober" enough to plan and dodge accountability for driving drunk/high - you're obviously good enough for #Autowa roads.

ProTip: Tourism hinges pretty much completely on the wow and awe factor. A good start, but it needs to be like 2 to 3 times bigger 😂

#Ottawa: Goes without saying, but please don't vape on the trains! Nobody wants to smell your strawberry shortcake princess flavors.

I think that's their biggest memo yet 😂

There's a few lines that are glossed over, which I assume, in good OC Transpo manner means they're going to hack and slash and nothing good is coming of it.

But the other paragraphs sound decent. A bunch of quality of life changes, that at least sound good.

It looks like they are demolishing the old girl. The choices aren't great, but, that's city's planning.

They wanted to do something intelligent, I would argue they should build something that supports the Britannia Park or rebuild capacity provided by the dome.
We are gathering input on the future of Grandeur Park and the Belltown Dome.

Large If. The real risk is that we get a Spanish flu 2.0. especially if we're rolling the dice presumably in the millions with infected birds. It's a matter of time till it jumps species, that said, if it becomes hyper lethal - it's likely to burn itself out before that happens. So low risk.

We lost an advocate.

Too many people ride through life. They got theirs. They keep their head down. Fighting only for their needs

The courageous, fight for others. Not to gain, but because it has to be done. Because justice, duty and honour are not just words.
