This must be the most outrageous example of Farage's racist bullying. A 17-year-old Farage bullying a 9-year-old lad – NINE – for being black, and even waiting at the school gate to heap more abuse on the little lad.

What an absolute f***ing scumbag.

Deeply shocking, even by 1970s standards.

Invited by friends for dinner.

We said ‘do you mind if we bring Crumble’

We received a 👍

Got here, had a lovely starter and main course.

They go to us ‘it’s very generous of you to bring dessert’

We looked horrified. We hadn’t brought crumble. We had brought Crumble! 😅😅😅

This is exactly right. The problem in the UK tech sector with VC isn't just cash.

VC do two things. They provide cash and more importantly they are a governance structure for providing managerial support.

1.

If anyone cares at all, EV battery recycling is now hitting 99% recovery for important metals

Please remind me again what the recycle rate for fossil fuels is

Why? It’s a failing asset
Lots of news coverage this morning about £28 billion investment approved to upgrade the UK's energy network.

BUT: The majority of the spending – £17.8 billion - announced today is to maintain Britain’s gas networks rather than build new transmission lines.

ASHP service done. Can you believe we’ve had this one a year next week?!

A report just published by Seeing Machines a company producing driver monitoring systems says:

‘Cell-phone use as a source of distraction is declining in every region except the UK’

Doesn’t surprise me. Every day when walking Crumble I see drivers texting, surfing the net, on TikTok. The works.

Don’t tempt me. This would be so epic on our driveway
I came across this old gas pump that someone used as a holder for their EV charger!

The amount of time and energy and effort spent on actively trying to strip rights from minorities who aren't hurting anyone is staggering. Not only will it now take decades of work to undo this harm, it's a whole decade lost when we could have been improving gender equality and support service.

Made a beautiful lemon beurre blanc sauce tonight.

Served it with fresh cod from the fish quay.

Would highly recommend making it because it’s a phenomenal and hugely underrated sauce!

Someone was smiling down on me. How I missed the three car crash unfolding in front of me I don’t know.

There’s a famous proverb which goes something like this.

If a job on LinkedIn isn’t promoted, does it even exist?

Seriously. Who wants to trawl through page upon page of LinkedIn jobs when all the promoted ones at the top either don’t exist, closed weeks ago or are relisted?!

Could we run out of water? “People would be shocked if they knew just how close we’ve come", a former Environment Agency officer told me. To many on this damp little island, the idea’s preposterous. But it’s a very real threat. Here's what I know...

The UK is such an outlier.

We have to close the spark gap. Sooner rather than later.

Given this is a policy change, government should be able to act relatively quickly.
Countries around the world are already showing this works, combining fair fossil fuel taxes, targeted credits, and smarter electricity pricing.

The result? Cleaner, more affordable heating for everyone.

I find Your Party's frequent use of AI very illuminating. Because when they talk about workers, they clearly do not include in that a large number of Arts sector and 'knowledge' workers. I suspect they regard them with contempt. Which is one of the many reasons they are not going to get far.

Wow - this guy must be really, REALLY bad with money if an extra £208 per month will “ruin” his retirement.

Let’s take a look at his situation based on what he told the @Telegraph

Because this does NOT add up!

No, this is not a “poor pensioner” scrabbling around for pennies…

Today is a sad day.

We planted this hedge two years ago..

I made a mistake when choosing it & opted for blackthorn (thinking oooh sloes. Love them in gin).

It’s dangerous by the footpath & it suckers & spreads. Plus it’s preventing me building the new wall.

So today I started taking it out

🤦‍♂️😭😢

So this manifesto pledge is ok to be broken.

But Reeves can’t possibly raise tax or scrap the triple-lock pension because she would be breaking manifesto pledges.

Right. Gotcha. When it benefits workers too bad. When it benefits businesses or non-workers, fair game

But what wallpaper to I choose?
