Remember when the MLS badge was introduced, and we all customized it by putting things in that open space? Have to see if I still have those graphics somewhere.

Saw Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein last night.
There a lot I loved about it, but there’s a choice in the final shot that really baffles me. Anybody who saw it want to talk about it?

I wonder what immediate impact wins and losses have on merchandise sales. Am I less likely to buy an #NYCFC tshirt today because I’m still smarting from Wednesday’s debacle? Would I be more likely to buy something if we had crushed them 4-0?
I’m sure the league stores track this.

I love that #NYCFC is leaning into the pigeon. When I first suggested the nickname back in 2014, I had no idea it would catch on so wildly.

They are bedeviled by occasionally sloppy play and bad communication holding them back. We still have a couple pieces to fill in. Mostly it feels like they need some time to come together.
With a couple signings and a little seasoning, they could be SCARY good. Just in time for the new stadium.

My favorite “Robert Redford movie that wasn’t” is Rosemary’s Baby. I love Cassavetes as a filmmaker, but he’s the wrong choice for the husband. Redford was apparently up for it at one point, and he would have been a MUCH better choice. Cassavetes plays the ending, Redford would have been a shock.
