The most challenging of situations has been finding a new club a couple of months ago, one that would take on a deaf swimmer that has no value because a govt policy @DCMS. I am grateful to my club Stockport Metro Swimming & my coach

My campaign now on DAY 1533 and a promise from Lisa Nandy MP to meet with us upon our return so we can end the #discrimination of #deaf athletes. Swim England my National Governing Body now acknowledging that I exist, for that I am truly grateful & look forward to carrying this forward

What a long journey this has been for me personally having been stopped from competing at 24th Deaflympics after training for 4 years (imagine that happening to an Olympic or Paralympic athlete). Attending #parliament. What a day that was.
