These #NYTMCollection photos show an original copy of the 1970 Graphics Standards Manual by Massimo Vignelli and Bob Noorda, of the firm Unimark International. It created guidelines for an updated visual system for the #NYCsubway and began a new era of visual communication at the Transit Authority.
