Absolutely. The Shelter was fairly new, attached to a longtime local restaurant called Teena's, both run by a cool family who had bought an old convent (the Sisters of Mercy, who ran my then-defunct Catholic school) and turned it into their home. One son was in my class.

I like this song. Fight me. Our marching band played it, and we majorettes had a routine to it. I can almost remember how it started.
