If your admin says "but we need to prepare students for AI-driven careers," you can calmly say no. Reiterate that AI-integration is the result of wild capitalist greed, the technologies themselves aren't "generative" or useful in most careers, and students should focus on process-based learning.

Feels dramatic pre 2020 to post 2020. Still have as many amazing students who blow me away but the disparity between those who can do anything and those who can barely function is widening…

I’m sure I will! Both for my own work and teaching! We spend a bunch of time with Matt Madden’s work and constraints so this fits perfectly. And I’m guessing you’ve seen Dan Slott’s & @allredmd.bsky.social’s reversible silver surfer issue? Looking forward!
