1975 was my first time collecting and I lived in the Bay Area so all I saw were minis. Didn’t understand why they were smaller than older cards and was very confused when I got a pack in LA and they were bigger. And then the 1976s were back to normal. I didn’t understand it for years.

Just changed jobs so I have no leave - won’t be doing any Free @ Noons for awhile. Plus getting to the Ardmore midday is harder for us than World Cafe

Most of the shows I saw at the Balloon were mid to late 80’s. Joe Jackson would have been amazing there

Where’d you see Zevon in Delaware? I saw him at the Stone Balloon in Newark in October of 1985. Be wild if we were at the same show!

It boggles my mind that a month after being drafted, Nakanishi is still pitching for his college team. I was at a Spearfish Sasquatch game a few years ago and a guy on the team had been taken in the draft the day before - he was at the ballpark to say goodbye to the fans but not play
